cstmg8
Fired the grill up yesterday, and while I don't have a pic, anyone looking for some crazy simple delicious grilled shrimp, try this. Just rolled all the large raw shrimp in a bowl with the "mckormicks grillmates barbeque" dry rub and toss on the grill.
cstmg8
Super easy delicious ribs: Dry rub of pork rub, season salt, onion powder, garlic, mustard powder, paprika, pepper, wine vinegar. 2.5-3 hrs in a roaster on 375, in enough coke to cover the ribs. Toss on grill to brush some BBQ sauce on and brown for 10-15 min. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/04/29/7b8a379628dd7e3e9d704e2790f12b55.jpg
The_buster
We made a pork tenderloin in the crock pot while we were out yesterday. sprinkled some french onion soup mix on it and let it cook all day. Was pretty good but it dried out a little. What's the trick to not drying it out?

The_buster
When we got home I checked it and it was at 210. So I turned it to warm from low.
Zx2guy19
When we got home I checked it and it was at 210. So I turned it to warm from low. 210 is ridiculous for pork- it's supposed to be around 160 IIRC. Did you cook it on low all day? Did you cook it in some sort of broth? I probably would have only cooked that for 5-6 hours, so if you worked an 8-9 hour day, it'd definitely be dry.
The_buster
It was still frozen when I put it in so I had it on high for an hour or two, then down to low while we went to Columbus for a few hours. I had some water in the bottom, probably about 3/4 to 1". Left about 11 am and got home about 5ish.

The_buster
I bought a new grill for cheap from work. A customer returned it because it was missing a grate, which we sell replacements for around 25ish I believe. made grilled bbq chicken and corn on the cob last night. with and without flash-lighting in our living room sucks Edited May 7, 2015 by The_buster grammar
LJ
When we got home I checked it and it was at 210. So I turned it to warm from low. If you are going to do that you need a crock pot that has a temp probe. On mine it cooks to temp, holds it for a while, then switches to warm. Slow cooking in a pressure cooker really makes great pork
jeffro
Anyone know a good rice recipe? Chipotles rice is killer.
The_buster
A friend used to work there. I believe she said their rice is just cilantro and lime juice mixed in. Maybe some salt.

gillbot
http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i191/gillbot/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpsrmgncwiw.jpg Cabbage Roll Casserole Simple but pretty good. Got a bag of coke slaw mix, boiled in salted water to cook about 80%. Add to bottom of baking dish and stir in a can of tomato sauce. Bake 35-45 mins on ~400 degrees to thicken up to your liking. Layer roast beef and provolone on top, pop back in 10-20 mins till cheese is melted, more time if you like crispy cheese. Let stand for about 30 mins, chow.
