Mojoe
I have had these Sport Max wheels for 5 or so years. They are staggered 18x9.5 and 18x8.5. I still like the look, however the clear coat is chipping terribly, and there is curb rash on the fronts. The wheels were $150 ea, so I really can't complain. Truth is, I find it hard to justify putting $2,000 into wheels and tires. Getting the wheels fix would cost more than buying new ones, I think. I considered stripping them down and dipping them. I just haven't felt that is going to fix my want for them looking better, or maybe changing the look. I'm looking for thoughts, maybe I'm overlooking an option, on how to either clean up the wheels or even open to changing the look. I like things pretty simple, so I'm not looking for white are bright wheel colors. As it sits now. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/94%20RX%207/IMG_5270.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/94%20RX%207/IMG_5187.jpg Credit to Wagner for the pics. Green Bastard
Bolt these on and see how they look? http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=120405
Mojoe
Thats not tint. That is stock for FD's. Have never heard of anyone tinting wheels. Any examples? I would worry about the wear and how long before you are working on them again.
STEVE-O
If you decide to sell yours is be interested in them, also I agree with Ryan its worth a shot to see how they would look
Mojoe
Bolt these on and see how they look? http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=120405 Not a fan of those for my car. Good looking out though. Multi spoke and the bolts don't do it for me.
Jelloman4571647545499
This is my problem as well. Do you still like the five spokes? CCW is always a great choice. I may just end of getting Enkei RPF1 from Derek (turbo rust) for a good price. I love the Work Meister SR1 3 piece wheels but they are similar (5 spoke). Jelloman4571647545499
We can always clear them at my work too. I know a guy that has a body shop....

The concave look is growing on me. But then the cost just puts me off. These wheels are fine in function, so it's hard to justify the cost of other wheels. The wheels you listed all look great too. How are/costly to fix the clear?
Aaron
After googling, it seems like the 5 spoke wheels look the best, IMO. There are alternatives, but nothing that I found quickly that weren't name brand high $ wheels. I'd refinish yours, maybe do all painted silver? I personally like the look as is. AudiOn19s
I like the look of your wheels to, the question is if you could improve the performance of the car by going to a lighter wheel would it be easier to justify the price tag? Chris (smokey) has a couple fantastic sets of wheels for his car. Both light and attractive. His street wheels are ccw classics but based on your previous posts those are probably not for you as they are a 3 piece mesh wheel. His track wheels are SSR Comp's which are stupid light yet still really attractive. CCW has a line of light and strong monoblock wheels that are all pretty attractive. Their C14 wheel is what I use for the GT3 and would look good in my opinion on the FD. Sorry on mobile right now I'll post pics later
2 Sweet
I'd refinish yours, maybe do all painted silver? I personally like the look as is. +1  Beautiful car. I like it exactly how it sits. Those wheels look great, I wouldn't change a thing. I can't imagine refinishing them would be too costly
Mojoe
I really like the SSR Type C's. But I'm a cheap ass and $580 per wheel is a new gun per corner to me. I did a test look of some black chrome a couple years ago and they murdered out the car, but looked great. I would have bought them, but I need staggered for the fronts to be more narrow. GRN96WS6
I like the current wheels, a weekend of time and some aircraft stripper then drop off to ips for powder coating and done!
zeitgeist57
I really like the current wheels. Get them refinished (possibly a new color if you want to switch it up) and be done with it.

Green Bastard
I am a sucker for mesh wheels, not a fan of the ones I suggested myself, but they could look good with some work imo. Here is a cheap set I found on cl that may fit you're criteria. http://columbus.craigslist.org/pts/4822319151.html
