SpaceGhost
Um forgive me, but are you NOT supposed to heat street tires, only slicks?

unfunnyryan
NON AWD LOL I forget if this has been posted on here before but... at the 2:20 mark, does the suspension begin auto-leveling because of the speed?
excell
Um forgive me, but are you NOT supposed to heat street tires, only slicks? Yes. Burning out street tires is pointless. Slicks have a different compound that gets stickier when warm, so a moderate burnout to warm them up is good. When drag racing on street tires a quick spin to remove gravel/dirt/etc. is all that's needed.
Sledhead36
at the 2:20 mark, does the suspension begin auto-leveling because of the speed? Yes, the adjustable air suspension come set at 100 miles an hour to squat down. However you can go in the control panel and set it to squat at any speed about 50 mph. Sledhead36
By the way, according to Brooks. He uses 6-10 miles of charge for every run he makes on the track. He should be able to make at least 20 runs before he has to recharge. If his battery was completely empty he could charge it in 4 1/2 hours on the 220/90 amp service. However he has a supercharger nearby and can charge it in about 45 minutes.
excell
I'll bet that car is ridiculously repeatable. Bracket racing superstar. I know someone who bracket races a Prius and absolutely slays the field. It really fucks up big nuts racers when they have to wait nearly 10 seconds to start their run...
