School me on Beetle

Why not just be a man and go get a 911tt ?

that's my plan

The Beetle to get is Turbo RS-R with the 341hp twinturbo flat 6 and AWD. It comes with a 7-speed manual and 2-speed rear end to tackle the Pikes Peak. Watch out for the engine substitution for the ultra-reliable Subaru flat-6 as the original engine is prone to leaking mineral oil from the power steering pump into the transfer case. Those with original engine fetch more money as the owners likely have spent a small fortune into the misfortune engine.

As far as wheels, Ronal Bear is ultra cute but it's 14" but it's lighter but it's so rare (I know, right?). Daisy wheels are stronger and it's 17", which, if my math is correct, is like 3i inches more than the Bear. My friend told me that 3i inches have made all the difference in the world, that it makes the world better, world peace, etc. But, what the heck she knows *rolls eyes*.

Anyway, back to the wheels. I heard that some supercars had staggered setup. I think it would be totally cool to have a staggered setup in the Beetle SR-S. You see, the Ronal Bear is 14" and the Daisy is 17", this way the Beetle can have the supercar stance (I know, right?) for a fraction of the cost. Now I can't remember whether the 14" Bear go to the front or to the back? But you're supposed to use the same size wheels for the same side. No, wait, maybe they need to alternate, like, if you put the Bear on the front on this side, the other side would be the Daisy. That way you can totally double up the cool and the cute.

The nice thing about the wheels is since you would buy a Porsche, they would totally fit the Porsche too since I heard this one guy in chatbox bought a Porsche and people called it a Beetle. Oh wait, or was it an Audi? Audi TeeTs maybe? IDK, those cars confuse me. They all look alike. I know, right?

Anyway, when you have bought the car, please take many many selfies of the car. I heard that people got shunned for not showing pictures of their cars in here especially for a car as cool as a Beetle RR-R. Good luck with the purchase.

I like your style , but too complicate

Only if you plasi dip it like this:

For some reason I couldn't save it correctly, so screenshot.

NO!!

Patina dip...now I've seen everything. Actually looks decent but that rear camber is disgusting.

Srsly about Beetles...have you looked into a TDI? If you're going to commit to a year, at least have good mileage, good resale value, and a good excuse why you're driving a Beetle ("Because it's a TDI!")

That's my thinking too, last resort plan.

Should work out a deal with your wife.

You drive the gayest version possible. You get to pick whatever Porsche you want.

If you commit fully for a year, she has to commit fully for the next year driving the Beetle as well while you tool around in your Porsche.

I don't think she mind driving the Beetle at all, but she's already the commander of USS Odyssey so I think that's suffering enough.

Am I the only one who thinks the stance beetle is cool? Fake patina is meh, car is hot

I like the low, but I think the camber is ghey.

+1 with Ryan. When you have a ridic low-pro tire with that much camber, I think it looks stupid. Get some sidewall so at least you've still got a bit of contact patch on the road.

I'd totally rock a beetle!!

LOL. DungBeetle FTW.

Still don't know what happened. And still don't have a clue on how to explain to the wife, but fuck it I'm happy as a clam. Can't wipe this shit eating grin from my face. It' not the fastest car I've ever owned, but something about this car just make me happy and tingling all over when I sit in it.

It's my first Porsche. '02 911 turbo with just plain black leather interior. 65K miles on the clock. Wife is coming home today from vacation. We shall see what happen #manpantson :)
