pontiacfreak142
I recently picked up a blue tooth obd 2 adapter and downloaded the torque pro app and was just using it to watch the trans temp in the bonneville (just installed a trans cooler). I also have commanded a/f ratio and kr gauges setup and was watching them as well. I first noticed the under load the a/f was as 14.7, but would bounce around at idle. Saw anywhere from 13.5 to 16.0. Also noticed it pulling upwards up 5 degrees of timing under load. The car is bone stock and well taken care of. Even just did a tune up (new plugs/wires, oil, air filter). Is there something physical i should be looking for issue wise, or could something just be off in the tuning?
Geeto67
I would look at your O2 sensor or your injectors. Partial clog at injectors at idle could cause the mixture to be off and the O2 sensor to hunt for ideal mixture at idle. An O2 sensor with carbon buildup could throw it off at idle too.
