cstmg8
Honestly, I'd never buy another front loader as long as I live. We bought a high end unit that was the best at the time and it's a PITA. Never again.. Ditto, sold them on CL, bought top load, no regrets. SRTurbo04
Due to the space, it has to be stackable, there for front load.
MrMeanGreen
Buy a bigger house with more washer space. I'll be on GTA V tonight. Remember me going to Tennessee this week for work? There's that...

MrMeanGreen
I know you just bought a new house, I was being an ass They do make stacker units with a top load washer, I used to have one.
cdk 4219
Buy the cheapest model with the largest capacity available. I've had everything in between for our four person family and we typically do a load a day. Wish we still had the cheapies. They went 10yrs. These new units (front load) are electrical nightmares, not built for the long haul. Agreed, bought LG set and it lasted 4 years before the $300 stainless drum cracked. The stuff I replaced it with was still working, after 20 years but had small capacity.
HotCarl
If you don't mind me asking, whats wrong with the dryer? I had a 300$ set of whirlpools, heating element went out on the dryer, it was like a $7 part if I remember and took maybe an hour to fix. Of course when wifey says she wants something new she prob wont want to fix whats old.
