I just tried creating a USB for ubuntu on LinuxLive and loading just fine so far. Apparently I just need a good copy of windows XP. Will report back.. It worked last time i booted up, but it's been sitting in my closet for a very long time. NWill Posted April 8, 2016 Author Report Share Posted April 8, 2016 WTF. Spent 5 hours on this and got nowhere with Windows. I've formatted everything, tried reinstalling XP on CD and USB...nothing. I then installed ubuntu. After restarting it asked what I wanted to boot to, Windows or ubuntu. Ok i'll try it out....it reinstalled Windows no problem. Thanks for the offers everyone!
