Drag Racing Tech Article Thoughts

So, I've been tasked to start coming up with some tech type articles for Dragzine. I've got my ideas, but I would love to hear from the people who are the target audience, what do YOU want to see in tech type articles for drag racing?

Some of the things on the table as possible articles:

Torque converter tech for Nitrous cars

Drag racing suspension upgrades for street/strip cars

Building a LSX based bracket car (there will be lots of sub articles)

Nitrous and modern EFI (lots of sub articles here)

So, what would the racers and general public like to see covered?

EFI tuning. Is seems like the tuners are wizards and EFI is the dark arts. Maybe a stand alone ECU comparison as well?

Sounds like your ideas are based around a certain red Trans Am :)

Yeah, I was told that I had to use my car for some stuff, it would make the process easier :)

Slicks vs. Street tires

This is in the works right now I think.

They have run a good amount on EFI tuning, but they have people in house in CA who are killer EFI guys.

As for the ECU comparisons that might be something that can be done...

How to get your friends to help build your race car.......just kidding

The fun of staging your car, including benefits of deep staging, staggered tires, and how you could potentiallu cheat with your splitter.

Tuning your instant center of gravity.

Torque arm suspensions.

How to run good at both ends of the track.

Tire selection.

What to do to shed weight and why you wouldn't want to.

Something I have never seen discussed is weight adjustments or ballast. Every one talks about suspension setups and weight reduction but having the car not load and twist but actually go straight is just as important and some of that is about where your weight is not just how much the car weighs.
