The school is Tolles Career & Technical Center in Plain City. Most of your duties would be on site, but some work at the feeder schools would be required as well to support satellite programs. POSITION VACANCY POSITION: Technology Supervisor POSTED: May 12, 2016 REPORTS TO: Director of Marketing & Technology APPLICATION DEADLINE: Position open until filled STARTING DATE: July 1, 2016 QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate must be proficient with Windows, Mac OS X, and iOS devices. Certifications are desirable. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information technology or equivalent degree. Have a strong commitment to keeping current with advances in computer technology and strong project management/organizational planning skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: In addition to Job Description 510, successful candidate will: Supervise and evaluate staff under the direction of the Director of Marketing & Technology. Assumes responsibility for the results of duties delegated to staff. Coordinate the implementation of the district’s technology plan and provide oversight to the district’s network set-up, management and security. Administers state and federal technology grants. Work in conjunction with district administration to evaluate new technology items for purchase. Ensure hardware/software compatibility. Design wired/wireless networks. Oversee installation and maintenance of network connections. Have good organizational, communication, management, human relations, and public relations skills.
