Might be fun to check out or even sit and watch it take off and land. FWIW, when I was a kid, my father and I did this at Oshkosh. It's one of my favorite childhood memories. Compared to a modern airliner it's amazing how far we have come in cross country travel.
zeitgeist57
Good call. Was there last year and there were at least a dozen people perched outside of the fence between Barnstormers and the Fire House waiting for the Tri-Power to fire up. Sad...because it's great events like this that remind me how much I both love summertime and hate how quickly it goes by.
Grudes
Neat, I love old planes. Thanks for the heads up!
buelliganx1
Did this last year with my father and my son. My son was 6 and it was his first time flying, I wanted to make it something he hopefully won't forget and not your typical cattle run that commercial flying has become.
