zeitgeist57
Hey, guys... In our backyard, we have an ancient apple tree that's getting decimated by carpenter ants among other insects. nearly half of the tree broke in a storm last year. Now, I can see THROUGH the rotten core (no pun intended) of the trunk, and it scares me every time I mow under it...this thing is coming down. If anyone chops down trees as a side gig, or knows someone who does, PLEASE let me know. I'm happy to haul away the branches/trunks myself to yard waste, and even grind up the stump myself if necessary...this thing is about 30-40ft tall and there are a couple of power/cable lines close enough that I don't feel comfortable felling it myself. I'm holding onto a couple of flyers in the mail (DLL Tree Service, Scotts Tree Service), but as usual I want to hit up CR first. Thanks! Mojoe
Do you not have a chain saw? Is there any restriction in where to drop it, hazards of any sort? Pics of said tree and area?
Moe7
If you strike out here, I used Joseph Tree Service before with good results. They had the best price at the time, were clean, and everything was as uneventful as you would expect.
TTQ B4U
Antwon will do it. If you use another source besides him, I've used Howell Tree Service. Gary Howell is a good dude.
