Lauren
So my brother in law came up from Alabama for thanksgiving. We planned to walnut blast our cars so we purchased the walnut blast kit. Removing everything was really straight forward. My 535 has never had the Intake valves cleane before. His we aren't sure of. I'm not exactly sure how my car was running with how dirty each chamber was. Need to finish tomorrow and then put it all back together. For anyone needing it done it's really easy. http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee254/ca18det007/Mobile%20Uploads/78295B11-135F-4BBE-98CA-E697597019D8_zpsdrdjjiaq.jpg http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee254/ca18det007/Mobile%20Uploads/023DF312-2AD4-418B-8758-D5D7D3CC1F0D_zpsr6d4lsna.jpg http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee254/ca18det007/Mobile%20Uploads/16B4E7BE-01F1-45F2-AEE5-F28E96585C06_zpssabhtkny.jpg

Lauren
It's really easy. There is this black box that's a pain in the ass. Otherwise really easy. I have the bav auto Kit. I'll sell it when I'm done tomorrow. $

criitter7
Man...that's a lot of buildup on a modern car. From what I've seen Seems to be pretty standard build up on direct injection engines.
Lauren
Hard to see but the valves and chambers look factory brand new. http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee254/ca18det007/Mobile%20Uploads/DDDB2DB8-408E-4F68-A264-42AECE1C3663_zpstbxgeo82.jpg
Lauren
So took it out for a test drive. Completely different car. Instant throttle response and it pulls so much harder. This is a must do for anyone with a n54
PRD2BDF
So you blast it in there then vacuum it up?
Lauren
So you blast it in there then vacuum it up? There is a vacuum attachment that fits the port and then a small hole to put the blaster wand. You blast and vacuum at the same time. But I would like to do this to know that its "done"
Lauren
My car had 141k. My brother in laws car had 90k. I would say his car ran a bit stronger the. Mine as he has vrsf fmic and I'm still stock IC. After I blasted my car feels faster then his and his car pulls strong. I would say you definitely need to do this What mods are you running? coltboostin
Good to hear. My car, some filters I pulled out of my scrap bin and a lil' sumtin tune. Basically a Cobb E- map I tweaked. I dont think the car would pick up much from an IC/DP's and such besides consitency, and I dont think thats worth $3k+! And some C list wheels if that counts as a mod? I'd love to run you. I dont know if I just have some freak but I crushed 2 FBO Jb4 cars up here, one on an E-85 map. Not sure why she runs so good, but it does. And this was against a car that goes 12's@112-
