My criteria was at/around 50k miles, 4x4, $18k .... yeah fucking right. Truck prices are insane. I routinely saw Chevy's with over 100k miles going for $20k .... $20,000! Mind you a lot of this was just because I had no idea the resale market on full size trucks was so much, and my criteria was completely unreasonable. I was really focusing on F150's, Chevy/GMC, and Toyota Tundra. Ram just wasn't an option though I did find some cheap ones. That was personal preference. It sounds like you're being realistic, you're going to be buying something with high mileage and regardless of what brand SOMETHING will go wrong with it, it just matters the severity of the problem.
