Advice needed on exterior of home

That is close to the color I want to paint the house. It's a bit darker. I am also looking into replacing the stairs since it's crumbling apart. Anyone have a ballpark of how much that goes (if you had experience).

 

I do like the idea of putting a low fence with a gate hmm.

 

The shutters are cheap plastic ones that came with the house, I want to look into replacing them with wooden shutters (likely I would make them) to make them more substantial

Definitely make them yourself if possible. Wood shutters are significantly more expensive than vinyl
