2000 Toyota Tundra

My wife's 2000 Tundra is up for sale. 227,000 on the clock. Runs good, but cosmetically is a little rough. Frame was replaced by Toyota, so all the rust is cosmetic. V8, 4x4, tow package. I used it on and off to tow my race trailer. It did okay, but not great. I towed my Camaro on a flat bed and it towed like a champ.

$4500.

Someone buy this, so rick can afford the gas on the tank he just bought.

BUMP.

Yeah. This one isn't even mine, this is my wife's truck. She found a replacement last summer, but we kept this one till I could find mine.

Really this is a solid truck. When they replaced the frame they also had to replace all the smaller hard parts that attach to the frame and broke when they removed them. It ain't pretty, but it's a great truck for someone.

For context, I took in a truck like this on trade about a year ago when I was still in the car biz. 352k miles, original engine and trans, and we gave the guy $1000 on trade for it.

Buy this, drive it 130k miles, and get $1000 back. not a bad fuckin' deal if you ask me.

My cousin might be interested, any suspension or engine maintenance done?

Engine is due for a timing belt. I can probably get it done here at school for a pretty fair price.

Suspension ... All the small stuff was replaced with the frame (sway bar end links, etc...) The truck rides great as long as the tires are aired up properly. One tire has a slow leak.

I wish this bitch was an 8 ft bed. Would be mine.

Nope, not this one. 6 foot bed. If your concern is sheets of plywood there are notches molded into the bed liner for 2x8 dividers. A sheet of plywood will ride on them no problem. Or the sheet will fit between the wheel wells I believe.
