ICEMAN
few more little things... had to wait a week for a lot of bolts and other misc things to come in just to do this much.during that week, i got out all the plastic i have for this and cleaned it all up and removed lights and anything else. I need to do some searching for some light housings for a few things. i have found most of em.ignition mounted.http://hphotos-sjc1.fbcdn.net/279774_10150261082158360_514138359_7313755_253516_o.jpgFront stabalizer mounted. The stuff on the tire is paint from the floor stuck to the sticky stuff from the label that was on the tire.http://hphotos-ash4.fbcdn.net/280616_10150261083398360_514138359_7313763_7484131_o.jpgTorque link mounted up.http://hphotos-ash4.fbcdn.net/280179_10150261081323360_514138359_7313751_3610457_o.jpg
ICEMAN
My new chain and sprocket set is in! OEM was 532, this is a 530 kit. Sprocket is MASSIVE and heavy. So is the chain.Brand New 1989 Ninja Owners Manual!ready to start a brand new maintenance record!luckily blanks are still available.rear brake mounted, ran the new stainless line, and bled. I love speedbleeders. Any bike i buy will be switched to speedbleeders. It was nice to see the rear brake working since the caliper was comlpetely rebuilt. Just a good sign, saying that everything was rebuilt good and the other 2 should work properly once i finish up the lever and master cylinder and resi. bandit12
After 7 years I'd throw the seat on it and make the wife shove me down the street a couple times.
ICEMAN
After 7 years I'd throw the seat on it and make the wife shove me down the street a couple times.haha i know. after i FINALLY got it out of the basement, our driveway has a slope and i was debating it. Tires are about 1/4 flat. They are brand new and a few years old, so they will prolly be dry rotten before i get it done, lol.I need to get it into the shop i work at and have one of the tech's torque doen the steering stem, i had it torqued down and it came loose, so i want him to look at it. Obviously i wont be doing it throught the shop and paying that price, hell no. LOL. But the steering stem was holding me back from taking that rolling ride. ICEMAN
Yes, I still have this bike. We bought a house so that pushed it back a lot more. But it gave me a spot to work on it. Been insulating and sheeting the garage recently. Ive cleaned up the motor a lot and that's about it. I need to go through and update all the images with links that work. The pics were off my MySpace site I had years ago and everything is now on FaceBook so I need to update them!
