Hello!

Up for sale is my 1992 Plymouth Laser RS AWD 5-Speed. 158K on the body but an incredibly nice DSM for the money. This is a reliable daily driver as is with little to nothing needed to make it an incredibly nice DSM. Below are all the good and bad points of the car. This is a great driver that hasn’t been beaten to death like most DSM’s. This car came from Oklahoma as a daily driver but has little/no rust or salt damage. I don’t drive into the office every day due to some recent medical issues and want to see this go to someone that will drive and appreciate it.

$3,000 OBO… ***Updated CR Price***

Good

Rare Laser AWD Turbo!

4 bolt rear end

6 bolt motor

5-Speed Transmission shifts great!

JDM motor less than 20K ago by previous owner

Brand New Head, ported/polished, with timing belt and all accessories/water pump less than 10K ago

3 inch full exhaust with high flow cat

RARE red interior

True Mitsubishi 16g upgraded turbo

660cc Injectors and aftermarket Fuel Pump

DSM Link V3 tuned for 93 octane or E85

External Wastegate off O2 housing

Front Mount Intercooler

ACT clutch

GR2 shocks/struts but NOT lowered to maintain good daily driving

Wideband O2 with gauge

Boost and EGR Gauge in radio cluster

Aftermarket radio/speakers (unknown brand on speakers)

Battery relocated in trunk

Bad

Obvious DSM Clearcoat issues (see pics)

Could use paint job

A few dings dents that need cleaned up with cheap pain job

Small typical DSM oil leak but I can’t find for the life of me. Does not burn oil AT ALL. I put a tiny bit in when I got the car and it held at that level since.

Tiny bit of transmission whine in 1st gear but NO issues shifting/driving

Manual windows and interior

Driver side window is a PAIN and comes off track easily

Could use a new Oil pressure sending unit

Driver side visor was broken off by previous owner

Rear hatch struts need replaced

Radio is aftermarket but isn’t the best. Might be something you eventually want to replace but works fine

As you can tell I am nitpicking on the issues and trying to give full disclosure. It’s in great shape for a 25 plus year old car. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. I need to get rid of car as I have two cars in an apartment for just me and the apartment complex is getting annoyed with having one of the two cars parked all the time.

Feel free to message me with any questions.

Thanks!

Aaron (Pavo)

My apologies for the delay in responding on this. The out of state plate is from the guy I bought it from in March. I have had 3 surgeries since November (2 serious) on my leg and getting out has been difficult until the last two weeks. I had the title transferred but never got around to changing tags because I couldn't leave the house until recently.

Thanks!

Also further clarification on the oil leak. Thanks to Ryan, who drove the car today, he saw the oil leak and was able to give me a general idea where it was coming from. You can smell it when driving a bit. It appears to be coming from the left side under the exhaust manifold area. Not sure what it is but it truly doesn't lose much oil. I have difficulty flexing and bending that leg so it's tricky for me to get up under there.

I wanted to post this for full disclosure. I am an honest guy and want to make sure everyone knows the good and the bad.

Thanks Ryan for checking that out when driving! I sincerely appreciate it!

Thanks!

Aaron (Pavo)
