y2k2gt
I removed ALL the factory wiring. Then started from scratch with this. My lights all work and the power windows. Everything works off the toggle switches. [/url]

Toph6888
Man that tube chassis front end makes a huge difference in being able to route all the turbo piping. I might have to steal your bumper attachement method with those quick clips too. Mine are trashed/broken tabs anyways.
y2k2gt
I bought the 1" quick release latches on ebay. It was 4 for under $50. Sure make it quick and easy to remove the cover.
Toph6888
so what was the deciding factor in moving the turbos? Oil drainage?
y2k2gt
I honestly just wanted them in them engine bay. I got a great deal on this kit. It was many years old but never installed. I'm still going the run my scavenger pump. My vacuum pump wouldnt fit with the longtube headers was another reason for swapping. The new intercooler is also larger than my other ones. Ackbar00
Looks great! Now ditch that front plate
STEVE-O
How was your experience with 417? If you can remember that is. I ordered my kit from them over 3 weeks ago now and it’s latest arrive date was a week ago. They never sent me a shipping co formation and via FB co tact said he would check but has been out sick. I really want this product but don’t think it is going to work and will have to file a dispute to get my money back
y2k2gt
It's a smaller shop. I have never read any thing bad coming from his shop. The flu bug is going around. I myself missed 2 whole weeks of work having the flu. Most work I ever missed at one time. I did get my kit in under two weeks. He also is making some badass intakes now. y2k2gt
The new headers had a lot of leaks, so the old setup is now back on the car.

Geeesammy
What do you think it needs to be at 850rpm? No clue just seems low to me. I get 25 at 1k rpm in my car.

supldys
Dang thats a pretty build. I had an air filter directly on my turbo in my old impulse and it would constantly pop off, couldn't flow enough. You have any issues with that?
y2k2gt
No issues with my air filters. Here is my first pass running 14psi on the new setup.
y2k2gt
Making some more changes. I sent an Edelbrock intake to 417 Motorsports to be modified. I really like what they have done to it. I then took it to Late Apex and had it coated. I'm also swapping over to smart coils. I am wait on my custom big wire harness to arrive.
