Since I got little interest when I posted my wagon for sale and was quoted next to nothing for trade-in I've decided to keep it as my beater til it dies and picked this up today.

1997 M Edition w/ 82k miles all stock except for upgraded morimoto LED headlights. It's not perfect but it's in really good condition.

Don't have any set plans yet for mods besides a good roll bar and better tires. I think a set of bronze 949 racing 6UL's in 15x8 would look nice.

Pop-up headlights FTW

+1

Eh has to many body panels lol

When can I drive it?

Maybe if we have a heat wave come through. Gotta get the plates first

Does it come in a different color?

M editions only came in one color per year

Looks good sir. Should make for some fun times. Too bad its the wrong season for it. At least you will have plenty of time to get it ready for the warm westher.

Thanks! wrong time to enjoy, right time to buy.

Riding dirty right now? Perfectly fine since it's not snowing.

Only passed 2 staties on the way home :) Had Amber a close distance behind to "block" my plates

congrats!!!that's an awesome car.

Thanks! I think I got pretty lucky with this one. I knew the M edition had some really nice features along with the LSD rear end, didn't realize only 3,002 were made. https://www.miata.net/faq/mfield.html

Cant say i have much room to talk as Im still rolling around in the 240 lol. I keep putting off the jeep but once the salt starts thats game over for toolling around in the 240

Nothing wrong with that. For convertibles, you know what they say: when the top goes down the price goes up. I find it's the opposite in the fall. Top goes up, prices go down.
