TTQ B4U
NEW PICS added below! This vehicle is on it's second owner and came to me in what appears to be a typical 7yr old vehicle condition. It has been "cleaned" or detailed before as there is a detailing shop sticker on the drivers door from 2013. That however was previous to the current owner who has had it for 3yrs. They came to me from the Dayton area as a referral from Eric here on the board (thank you sir!) and were looking to knock a few years off it's appearance and to clean up the interior. We deciding on my Option #2 which targets 75%+ correction and to apply a 3 step ceramic coating it for it's super hydrophobic properties and low maintenance going forward. We also have Ceramic coating on all glass surfaces and the wheels. Lastly, he also went with my Option 1 Basic Interior Clean up package. The great news is with just a wee-bit more effort, I got it to turn out about 95%+ corrected Not finished yet as I have the final layer of ceramic to apply later tonight. The color is really cool. It's a Dark Burgandy/Cherry Metallic that looks black until the sunlight hits is. Then the brown/copper colored flake comes out and the dark cherry color pops through too. Hopefully mother nature cooperates with some late day sun today. Until then, here are some preliminary pics. Before: Hammered with swirls and hard water spots keeping it from coming alive http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167443133/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167443134/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167443135/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167443165/original.jpg After: Cleaned up the interior and exterior http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167443138/original.jpg Gotta Love when black is done right http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167443139/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167443137/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167443136/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/167443132/original.jpg Stay tuned for more pics. zeitgeist57
You know it's a true mirror shine when you have to obscure your own portrait out of the reflection on the paint. I've got rusty-hat brakes on the CTS-V...need to hit them with some Corroseal!

zeitgeist57
Looks like hot garbage. The broken license plate frame, I mean.
TTQ B4U
Looks like hot garbage. The broken license plate frame, I mean. I know, but the screws going into it are plastic and won't come out easily so I'm not fucking with it. I have no interest in breaking one of them off inside and having to mess around fixing it. On the upside, the roof rail-cross beams weren't seized up and came off nicely. I'll put those back on tonight.
