smokin5s
my 21 year old daughter just broke up with her girlfriend. She doesn't have any friends anymore because she put all her eggs in the basket of her girlfriend. Is there websites out there to meet friends or how do kids now a'days meet people? smokin5s
that is incredibly unhelpful.. I'm dealing with my daughter in tears and I'm trying to find a way to help her.

Not Brian
Tell her not to ghost her friends for some dumb cunt. Unhelpful common sense aside, showing her some dumb online sites to meet people, or pretty much any recommendations from dad at this time will just make her cry more... seriously, daddy saying "you can find new friends at shitfuckwhatever.com" will just make her feel pathetic. Just be her dad for now. Hug her, say shit'll be alright, you're beautiful and smart and shit will get figured out. It'll take time bro, but just be there as a dad along the way. Set up father/daughter night twice a week—see a movie, go to dinner, etc. join a bowling league, etc. There are plenty of websites to meet people on, when she’s ready to do that. Right now she just needs her father
Richard Cranium
Sounds like she needs to build back her base of friends. Maybe join a social club or two around a hobby or interest. Most clubs seem to meet once a month somewhere. It would put her in a room with people she automatically has a connection with. Go out with coworkers on Friday after work (or whatever is the equivalent if she works an odd shift). Take a class somewhere on something she is interested in, Columbus Idea Foundry for instance offers workshops on all sorts of things. In my mind the big thing is to get out and put yourself in places where people have similar interests, so you automatically have something in common to talk about. zeitgeist57
Christian Mingle and Daughter/Girlfriend may not be the best mix... Lauren hasn't figured out that sarcasm doesn't work well via text. Even less so when your Boost Mobile flip-phone has another man's dried cum making the numbers stick. Zx2guy19
I have heard good things about Bumble BFF, no joke. Bumble is obviously a dating site, but they have a "Best Friend" version where you can meet friends and stuff around the city. I'd recommend she starts there if she's comfortable with it. Green Bastard
On facebook have her check out local events. If she finds something that piques her interest then go check it out and socialize. Internet probably isn't the best place to look for friends, face to face interaction she will find people she connects with better.
