Not Brian
I tried to use FB marketplace yesterday and it was the worst thing I've ever used. Broken on desktop and mobile in different ways. Punch in a price range, select manual trans, hit enter.. pretty hard.
greg1647545532
Punch in a price range, select manual trans, hit enter.. pretty hard. On desktop I did that and the search results came up for a second and then disappeared, blank page with the FB header. Two different browsers, same thing. On mobile I punched in search criteria, the number of results would filter down accordingly, but when I hit apply or whatever it lost all filters and showed me the full list. Hit filter again and it was back to no filters. I'm a web developer so I'm not tech illiterate, you can believe me or not but it was flat broken for me and I have no motivation to figure out why. Geeto67
um....what??? "no cabins in the woods or coon dogs" https://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/d/galloway-k1-custom-low-miles-may-trade/6879472205.html I actually saw that car in person about a month back. It real life it has a presence that the pics don't capture. Personally I wish they had left the Ferrari badges off since it isn't a replica of any Ferrari or even a cohesive design study of one. 2 Sweet
So even though they are charging for listings now, the fake ads are still on there. Just did a search and three of the first six were fake.....
Gergwheel1647545492
Yea, i am really shocked at how much spam is still on there :dumb:
Richard Cranium
I posted my diesel truck hoping that the 5$ price would help with the garbage. All I got from it was contacts that wanted me to use a scam vehicle history report.
2 Sweet
Correction, FOUR of those first six were spam. RIP craigslist autos
spankis
I really hate facebook and likely will never embrace using marketplace even if it is the next best thing... shit sucks.
Mace1647545504
Yes I've seen a few but the scammers feel it's a good $5 investment and if they do advertise they probably feel it legitimatizes the ad
Crossle
I put my car on after the $5 change and never got a single email.
