C-Mart
Took the car to the High Plains Raceway a few weeks ago for a shakedown. Outside of a blown power steering line the car ripped. Week after I went to competition driving school at Pikes Peak International Raceway and am now licensed to wheel to wheel race in a number of series. More videos to come. Still a long way to go to get the car how I want it, but she runs and drives now.

cruizin01
6 seconds? You can do better ;-) Im sure that's a blast. I just started following a guy on IG with an E30 LS1 that just swapped it out for a Tesla motor. Fun times we live in.
Smokey
Glad to see you’re having fun with it, but where’s the in-car track footage?!
C-Mart
Glad to see you’re having fun with it, but where’s the in-car track footage?! Open to suggestions. I bought a roll cage mount for my phone, but the video is REALLY shaky. I have some, but probably not worth posting. I also have some chase footage from PPIR, but haven't edited it yet. What do you do for in car?
Smokey
Go pros are the go-to for a reason...they just work well in these situations. Doesn’t have to be anything super fancy. I’d have to go look but I think I have an old 3 silver and it does well for me. Mounted to the roll bar with the go-pro roll bar mount. Only reason to stray from a go-pro is if you’re using a camera that’s integrated with data like an AIM SmartyCam, vBox, or similar.

Phones can’t do image stabilization needed for track videos
Geeto67
Also look at the Chinese made cameras. I have several from several different MFGs and they all do image stabilization, 1080p, and 4K, and every one of them was under $100 with accessories. The one I just got from microcenter was like $40 on sale.
