Engineering Instructor needed

Our Engineering teacher left at the end of the year. We have an opening to replace him. Requirements to get a teaching license for this type of position are effectively 5 years experience in the field. Clean background check.

Bachelors degree or graduate degree in engineering would help. Just guessing the pay would be in the 40 to 50 range, but it depends on years of experience and level of education. Next year will be my 19th year teaching, all of them at Tolles. It's safe to say I like working there, I like the people I work with. Here is the posting.

QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal applicant:

 

● Candidate must have or obtain a valid Ohio teaching

certificate/license to teach Engineering Technologies - Design

(Course Code 171807).

● Teaching experience and/or industrial work experience in the

Engineering/Manufacturing field preferred.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: In addition to Job Description 316, successful candidate will:

 

● Provide instruction to 11

th and 12

th grade students in the areas of

 

Engineering/Manufacturing.

 

SALARY & CONTRACT: Salary based on experience and credentials. 187-day contract

first year for new teachers; 185 days in subsequent contracts.
