Gergwheel1647545492
Got an 03 Chevy Silverado, 5.3 extended cab regular bed. anti-theft light is on, starter won't turn over. Had a few wires (4 pin connector on the drivers fender in the engine bay) get chewed through out at my parents house and now it won't start. fixed the wires, and still have the anti-theft light. looked around inside under the dash and the rest of the wires look fine. I disconnect the ground for a while and reconnect it and the light is off, but then i put the key in the ignition and after about 2 mins it comes back on. cstmg8
Have you tried the reprogram procedure for your passkey system/key? I'd have to look it up for your truck. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

Cordell
10 minutes key on, the security light should go out, cycle the key off and back on, wait another 10 minutes, Light should go off, key off and back on, wait another 10 minutes, security light should turn off, then it should start if this is the problem. If you found chewed wires take the underhood fuseblock out, they really like to chew under there.

I'll check that, you do mean the one right behind the battery right? Little fuckers need to die!

There’s a good bit of space under it and a ton of wires. I’ve repaired more then a few trucks in that spot.
