WTB/rent: Scaffolding

After hearing back from 3 shops, it's becoming painfully obvious that I'm likely doing the roof replacement on my '75 RV myself. Two of the main issues are age of the vehicle (Wilsons RV won't touch anything older than 20years) and project creep (possible interior panel replacement) making an already expensive job even worse. My family loves this vintage RV so I've got nothing to lose with all the info available on the internet.

Does anyone have scaffolding to get up and around a roof that's 9-10'(at highest) off the ground? Sunbelt rental adds up with multiple weeks and multiple 6' scaffolding frames, boards etc...

I don't mind buying used scaffolding and then flipping it after the job, but happy to rent for 4-6 weeks as well and pay someone directly. I can access the roof from a ladder but will likely be replacing plywood and other trim components that would make a scaffold platform a more secure and enjoyable place to work. Please advise what resources you have!

My FIL bought some scaffolding from HD because it was about the same price for the rental period he wanted vs. the buy. Unfortunately distance and the fact that he doesn't loan tools or i'd ask him if you could borrow it.

for what its worth I rented the scaffolding from Sunbelt to paint my entryway and while it worked Jesus was it sketchy and moved around alot. Granted I know my weight effects this but my wife refused to get back on it. Make sure you have a good way to anchor them in place.

looks to be around 100-200 in steel there unless prices have gone fuckery like wood prices. could always go grab box steel from a metal supplier and go to town. maybe a long shot, but if someone has some type of industrial storage to borrow that would be an easy solution.

I was going to offer Clay a helping hand when needed but if he welds up some scaffolding himself I'm 110% out.

So, the "Franklin" brand from Harbor Freight looks like the same stuff...and it's $169 a set through the end of the month. Considering I'm looking at using this to secure tarp over the RV while working on it, it's cheaper for me to buy over renting for a month!

I have one of those multi-function ladders that can be used as scaffolding, it looks similar to this but it's longer....

Let me know if you could use it. If so, you can borrow it for as long as you need
