I prefer it if it's functional though.I needed a gas tank protector and a triple tree cover, and thought CF would look good.I got on ebay, found a company called Skur. http://stores.shop.ebay.com/SKUR-Custom-Carbon-Fiber__W0QQ_armrsZ1Seemed like good quality, so I bought.So here are some photos of what I bought. The pattern seems perfect, and the triple tree cover is amazingly shiny. The tank protector was when I bought it new, but now the clearcoat is starting to dull. Previously it was a color dyed fiberglass over the top of the carbon. It's still hard to tell which one is used on top, and also hard to tell what materials are used underneath. Carbon Fiber parts is one thing. Stick on shit for tanks, triples, etc are like neon lights on your Mustang...I do like Carbon Fiber protectors on wear spots like on the swingarm from boots, etc., but that's about as good as it gets for me.Stick on Carbon Fiber is a funny thing to me. Carbon Fiber is thought to be used as a "lighter, stronger" alternative. When in fact when used as a stick on, it is actually adding weight...
