Likwid
.... that's right Not that kind though Did my first poker run down in Tallmadge. It was a police escort to the first stop... I never want to ride without one now!! Not having to stop for lights... stop signs.... just keep riding. Near the end of the ride a couple guys went up and blocked intersections for us... that was nice but made me nervous since it's not exactly legal, but in such a small town noone cared it seems.~110 Miles... definitely loved the ride, but I don't really like having to look at a map/directions to know where I'm going. MadMax33
Well, you CAN pay an escort to dress like a cop. Don't ask me how I know...

ReconRat
I've been in a couple of large escorted rides. It really helps when getting going and out of town quickly. We road guard intersections out in the countryside, but I don't think I'd try it inside city limits in a larger town. Someone (a patrol officer) was saying there is a rule, law, or regulation that allows it, but I've not tried to look it up and confirm that. The National Guard does it all the time. Just paint all the bikes olive green and go for it.

ReconRat
Ok, I looked it up in Ohio Revised Code, and did not find anything on using a road guard in intersections. Only public safety vehicles can do that. To be fair, it should be done with safety vest, flashing lights, and whistle or siren.edit: oops, I'm pretty sure it's illegal to have a siren on your car or motorcycle. On the lighter side, I never fail to find something odd in state laws:A herd of domestic animals on the roadway is considered to be "traffic". Awesome!
