RSVDon
This about covers it, and it's why I'll never be racing at Kil-Kare. Milan which is a much respected and huge NHRA track doesn't even require lanyard kill switches, but Kil-Kare does. Even on T&T nights. Anyone who wishes to race on 2 Wheel Tuesdays must have the following safety equipment and certifications:All Riders must have:Pants (Leather Pants Recommended)DOT approved or Snell HelmetLanyard kill switches ONLY!Boots that cover the ankleGlovesAny Riders going over 120 mph in the 1/4 Mile must have FULL LEATHER SUIT!Any riders going faster than 9.99 in the 1/4 mile must have licensing from an appropriate sanctioning body. oldschoolsdime92
id love to go, but this kill switch thing has me hung up. they state on to pass inspections you have to have a lanyard killswitch.
warpspeed
just buy a kill switch, zip tie it to your bars, and fasten the wires up and make it look real....HIGHLY doubt they will check to see if it works.
oldschoolsdime92
the switchs i was finding were 100 bucks. and quite frankly, i cant see spending 100 bucks on somthing im going to use maybe once or twice.
ninjascott
schnitz racing has a cheap one for like $40 you have to drill a hole in your kill switch and put a pin in it. They work pretty well.
slowbusa
they just look i have never had them check to see if it works
