A frustrated Colin Edwards admitted he and his dedicated team of Fiat Yamaha mechanics tried everything they could in terms of setting up his YZR-M1 800cc to be competitive at Laguna Seca, but to no avail as the Texas Tornado came home a disappointing eleventh in his home race.
