For anyone, who needs a job...or wants one. Anchor Hocking in Lancaster is Hiring. Pay is 11.00$ an hour, after 3 months you get bumped up to 11.90$ i believe, and so on. Work as of now, is temporary. But the job will not end until Dec 31st. With the chance of being added on to full time. They're looking for people to show up, rather than who does what better.

This is a factory job, if anyone doesn't know. Some area's of the factory are HOT, and some..are actually pretty cool. Near fans, and the breeze from outside. It just depends where your stationed, but the position changes after 4hrs. Some of the area's are fast paced, but very doable. And some...are slow and boring. All of the product is glass. Cookware, vases, jars, lids, etc.

They've just hired on a bunch of people, and plan to hire even more. You can, and will need to fill out an application at Job and Family Services in Lancaster. Right off 33, (Memorial dr in Lancaster)

Oh, training is 1st shift hours. 6:45 am to 2:45 pm. After 4 days of training, they will assign you 2nd or 3rd shift. 2nd shift is 2:45 to 10:45 and 3rd is 10:45 to 6:45.

If your interested, or have questions you can pm me or post here.

It's no secret the job market went to hell in a hand basket. I know there are people out there who really NEED a job. I also forgot to mention, if i'm not mistaken...you get benefits after 90 days. Insurance, and dental..among others.

Also...my resume is spotty...and i didn't think i would get hired, but i did. They need people.

Are they looking for part-time or full-time currently?

Sorry forgot to mention that too. At the moment, it's temporary full time. Until Dec 31st. By then, they will do a review on you. To see if you have showed up to work. Attendance plays a huge part, and if it's good...they will look into adding you to a permanent position.

40 hrs a week are a given. As soon as your training ends, mine was 4 days. You will be eligible for overtime. Overtime is mandatory, if they need you to work.
