750GSXRinBlue
Does anyone know what will remove the gummie crap left after trying to remove graphics? I have tried "Goo-Gone, Oops, finger nail polish remover, and rubbing alcohol.
Disclaimer
I think 80 grit should do it.

curby
WD40... works wonders on everything
Reimbrandt
I have adhesive remover that I use.... it works best, but just takes a bit if its thick. I got mine from my paint supplier. If you plan on doing anything to the plastic paint wise after your done don't use anything petroluim based......ecspecially WD40.
dmagicglock
I can't believe goo gone didn't work? I've used that on so many graphics and emblems. Did you try a heat gun/hair dryer to activate the remaining resin and "ball it up" with your fingers and remove as much as you can that way. Whatever is left should come off with goo gone or wd40, you can even use a small amt of methyl ethyl ketone from a paint supplier (but wash part after using and apply a layer of wax when finished)
siggywiggy
before removing graphics coat the surface in oil..and give it a few days. That oil will work its way into the graphics and begin breaking down the adhesive. Many times it won't leave residue behind.

Likwid
hairdryer first then goo gone does the trick... worked for me
Squidy
You can also go to harbor freight and get a heat gun for cheap to remove them.
Chrome
honda polish gets rid of the goop. let it sit on there for a few min then wipe clean. may have to do it a couple of times, but you don't risk the paint or finish of the paint. max power
Whatever is left should come off with goo gone or wd40, you can even use a small amt of methyl ethyl ketone from a paint supplier (but wash part after using and apply a layer of wax when finished)MEK is not your friend. Its purpose is to melt plastic together. Be very careful with a heat gun also as it will melt plastic easily if held in one place too long. chevysoldier
Use a smart eraser pad. Hook it to your electric drill and it erases the sticky shit and wont ruin your paint. I use it all the time and works great!!!http://www.toolsusa.com/asp/item_detail.asp?T1=PBE%209MS%20AP4OOE&trackcode=GoogleBase
