chevysoldier
Well I just aquired this in trade for doing some work. It is a Bersa Lusber 844 Cal 7,65 (32 Caliber) Industria Argentina. I have fired it about a dozen times and I really like it. The only plastic on it is the grips which make it pretty heavy for it's size. Is there anyone here that knows anything on these guns? Seems like info on the net is limited.I figured I would post this as well since I haven't seen too many of them. I got this after my grandfather died in 2001. It is a High Standard Sport King .22LR. Made in Hamden Conn. I did some research online and a High Standard guru sent me this info:4xx,xxx shipped as a catalog number 9101 on 3/5/1955 to account number 8125 on invoice number 27803. It's a pretty neat too how it comes apart. Pull the slide back and lock it, push the button on front and the barrel slides out then rest slides off too. Don't think it's worth a whole lot, but it does have sentimental value. Thanks for letting me share.

chevysoldier
The HS is a fine target pistol.Yeah that's what I usually use it for, that and maybe a rabbit or the likes. I'd like my daughter to learn to shoot with it someday. Would be neat to tell her it was her great-grandfather's.
NinjaNick
Nice pistol. For some reason I thought this thread said "Mursa", that is some terrible shit.
