The Vee is a bit heavy offroad but depending on your experience and size it's manageable. The Wee is a bit better in that regard, but for 2-up and hauling big, the 1k is the shizzle...it just shines up in the high revs and with my wife on the back and loaded up I can't hardly feel her on it.Guess it depends on what's more important to ya or where you'll spend most of your time.
