Disclaimer Posted September 24, 2009 Report Share Posted September 24, 2009 Seems like they want to legislate any purchasers or holders of handguns to basically submit to a CCW process application and background check in order to legally own a firearm.I think the intent of the bill has a little merit, but the application in which they want to apply this is f*(ked up. jbot Posted September 24, 2009 Report Share Posted September 24, 2009 one already has to submit to a background check to purchase a firearm, with the exception of private sales. i don't think there is a whole lot of room to give on this issue, at least from a 2nd amendment tin foil hatter's point of view which it seems like we all agree on.
