justin0469
http://www.plunderguide.com/mavizen-ttx02/Mavizen TTX02Posted by Peg Leg Larry on November 6th, 2009 Connectivity, mobility, and freedom, just three of the attributes you’re likely to attach to this ‘laptop on wheels’ from Mavizen. The TTX02 Road Racing electric bike is no ordinary two-wheeler – not only does it have a license plate, it has a dedicated IP address as well. Based on the Linux operating system, the bike is basically a moving web server that’s capable of connecting to a Wi-Fi network so you can attach your laptop or other USB peripherals on the bike. Propulsion is courtesy of an Agni 95R permanent magnet motor that gives 53 Nm of torque that gives the bike a top speed of about 130 mph. The chassis is a KTM RC8 and the brakes are racing-spec Brembo. Surely, your laptop cannot go as fast as the TTX02. ~$41,300.

Moto-Brian
It's a shame the RC8 is such a flop here in the States... Is a great bike, but with the intro of the new Duc and the soon to be on the street RSV4, it became old school fairly quick. Loved the way it handled and ran, but sad to see it fall short so fast... jblosser
Linux motorcycle: - free - many (100's) of different models available; - does everything you could possibly want, except there are one or two specialized roads upon which it won't run (Photoshop road - take Gimp road instead); - runs great; even after 10 years of no maintenance/upgrades, nothing has failed; - boatloads of upgrades/parts available, all of them free, but you have to be a pretty good mechanic (or be willing to try something "different" and read the Haynes/O'Reilly manual) to install them and make them perform properlyWindows motorcycle: - not free, 5 models to choose from (more if you include XP, Vista, and Server motorcycle); - does everything you could possibly want, runs on just about every road; - usually runs OK, but could stop being able to drive on certain roads while others are fine, or may just stop running completely for no apparent reason; - lots of upgrades/parts, some free, and don't need any mechanical ability to install them. Some, however, will cause your motorcycle to function erratically or to stop running completely - and you may not even know you installed the part!Mac motorcycle (iMotorcycle?) - not free, 1 model available (2 if you count iServer iMotorcycle); - does everything you could possibly want - runs on most roads; - looks pretty, but under the hood it looks surprisingly like the Linux motorcycle; - lots of upgrades/parts available - usually won't cause harm, and no mechanical ability needed; - black turtleneck and hipness included with every bike. Xyloft
i'm really excited about the electric sportbike. racing brings inovation. right now it only has a 39 mile range, but give them a few years to inovate and I'm confident we'll eventually see 100-110. at that point it'll be close to an gas motorcycle. I also think we'll see electric bikes like this way before cars.
