22's suck

when i am forced into a situation where i have to pull a gun out i want to be sure that the gun can STOP whoever it is, not slightly injure them and have them continue attacking me (depending on the situation)

why not get a 45? or a revolver like a 357 magnum? or a 9mm?

just some suggestions, you could probably get one for around 500-600 maybe

my friend got a glock 21 for upper 400's

best home defense weapon ever the french Chauchat universally

for ccw the fp-45 liberator. you simply upgrade to the weapon of your attacker after shooting them. just be careful its a single fire non rifled barrel so >10 is a must if you want to hit anything.

in reality the walther pps with laser site has always been of interest to me, but there is no replacement for displacement bigger rounds make bigger holes. untill you get to the FN Five-seven which relies on cavitation

LOL @ all you pansies that need guns for home protection...

If someone comes into my home with malicious intent, I will first demoralize them by showing them the size of my cock, then punch them and their gun.

Then I will let my dog have his way with them.

Seriously, though...First line of defense is a Wife with a 12-guage.

(...And people think I'm mean...!?!)

Sometimes you can find some good deals if you want to buy used. If you want new, Vances has really good deals going on for the month December.

Ok so moral of the story is go with something bigger so how about Walther PK380? Anybody have any bad experiences with something like this?http://www.waltherpistols.com/item/161300_Walther_Hand_Guns_Pistols_WAL_PK380_380ACP_3_6_BLU.aspx

You can get 9mm's that are the same size as the walther, weigh less, and have less felt recoil. Kahr P9 for instance.
