Craigslist Posted February 18, 2010 Report Share Posted February 18, 2010 Everyone is entitled to their opinion, This is winter, not many people are looking for bikes in earnest now. If you want, or expect to sell a bike, any bike now, you have to grossly under price it. True the market wont support book values, especially from private owners. But the only reason or want to expect any large item to sell in 6 days especially when its out of season, is desperation, and with that, its not the market, or the actual worth that will dictate the price, its the sellers financial needs. Sellers will suffer for that and a sharp buyer will profit. If you don't like the price of a Harley listed here, or any item in any category, its a free country, go to the next one. Again, either they will sit on it and eventually lower the price, or someone will think its worth it and buy it. There seem to be a lot of people that troll Craigslist constantly and think they have the right to badger people on pricing or what they are selling.Go to a dealer and argue in person, instead of hiding behind a keyboard.
