Craigslist Posted February 18, 2010 Report Share Posted February 18, 2010 just my 2 cents. right now people that sell harleys are in a time warp. please look at the kelly blue book, look at what a trade in price on your bike is and that is a pretty realistic price you will get. the days of people on waiting lists to buy new harleys is over. you will never, i repeat never even come close to getting your money back. i dont care if you put $5000 in chrome into your bike. because what you are asking, someone can go and buy a brand new stock harley for just about the same price. also banks are not financing anything older than 2005's now. so plan on paying cash or getting an unsecured loan at 12%+. i have the money to buy any type of harley i want new or used, but the way this economy is cash is king. nobodys job is safe. folks thats just the way it is.More...
