1983 Honda CM250 Custom

Only 1500ish miles and comes with saddlebags and taller windscreen.

Good for a beginner bike or taking the test with or something.

Don't have pics of the exact bike but heres another 83 cm250

it's my uncles and it's just been in his garage for like 10 years probably. Supposedly tires and belt are in good shape, still runs good.

I think he just wants like $700ish?

Catch is he's about 45-1 hour inside Michigan. I think he'd meet halfway which would be around Findlay or Toledo I think. Maybe he'd drive to Dayton for delivery fee or something.

hey, I've got one of those! Well, sort of. My brother has one, but I borrowed it last year when deciding what type of bike I wanted to buy for myself. I rode it around all fall and into the winter. It's got over 50k miles on it and still running strong!

so the bike runs pretty well? nothing needs to be fixed (i'm sure that will change later down the line)? not too rusty?

i think i'm interested. should i get in touch with your uncle or you? i'm looking for a cheap bike for the old man. i'm sick of him dropping my bikes just to "ride it around the parking lot". that said, i dont want to leave him stranded lol. well, at least not too much.

you're ok with the distance thing?

that's alright. my g35 is the bestest trailering vehicle evar. you said he'd be willing to meet someone in toledo area?

that said, this is sorta dependent on how reliable/accurate his description is. per the description, it's low miles, currently runs well, and has serviceable tires?

does it shift into gear alright? brakes? electricals all work? i know it's an older bike, so i'd guess there are things wrong with it, but i would need to know what problems it has.

depending on answers to that, i'll meet him and pick it up.

ill give him a call here in a few, ask if I can give his number out and you both can call him and get details from him and then between the 3 of you decide who's gonna get it. I rode it several years ago and it ran just fine and awesome but i can't tell you what it's like now. He's an fair and cool guy but he can be stubborn, but dont tell him i told you :D

$700 with saddlebags and windshield. I said 700ish while we were figuring out a fair price
