CBR600rr
I have a 2005 CBR 600rr and can't seem to open the rear seat (SEAT RELEASE LOCK) . Once I insert my key to unlock it it doesn't seem to turn much. I have tried applying pressure down on the seat and trying to unlock it that way. I was able to open it when I got the bike originally Any suggestions ?Thanks in advance..

redrocket04
Turn the key. While it's turned, stick something in there and wiggle it around by the grab handle. That should get it off pretty quickly. I had problems getting mine off a few times, too. There's no way to post this without it sounding ghey. Hopefully get that mofo off so I can see if installing an exhaust and removing the fender is something I can handle.
redrocket04
I'm guessing the rear seat on the '05 is at least similar to the one on my '04. That method truly did work on mine.
