Gump
I did the counties free radon test. It came back at Result: 27.0 pCi/lSo now what? Test again? There was new construction in the house. Glues, tile glues, floor leveler, polyurethanes. Hoping it was wrong.
snot
Retest on a dry day, do not run a dehumidifier. Do you have a basement?Ours was 14 now just below 4 with a mitigation system.
Gump
THe test was in the basement.
snot
New construction wont matter unless you are tearing up the concrete. Either way sounds like you need a system. That high does cause concern for your health. I am no expert but i would do a second test or get a monitor http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000CEAY64
Gump
Thanks. Think I'll get another test first and test the living room.
snot
You should test in the basement for accurate results. Do not open windows.
