Trip to Iron Pony

I am going to do my first oil change and chain tightening soon. Do I need to buy a bike stand? I have been pushing this off but will today if I have to.

Id say puck one up. They really come in handy and you won't regret the investment. I use mine all the time

get it atleas the rear, its better to drop $50-100 on a stand then drop your bike where it costs a grand or 2 to replace plastics and re-paint....plus it just makes it that much easier:)

I've never found the need for a stand to change the oil or tighten the chain on any on the bikes I've had. I can see the convenience of having a rear stand for tightening the chain, but not so much "need." Just my 0.02, in the end it's up to you.
