Change in venue for our bike nights, now in Columbus!

We are now going to be at Average Joes in the Little Turtle area on the east side for the rest of summer. Will be on Saturday nights since much of the feedback I have received said that a weekend night would be popular. There will be an area for the people who ride to hang out with food and drink specials. Every week will involve a prize for various things(brightest bike, widest tire, loudest, ugliest bike, best looking, ect) to be given out by 9 PM. This will start on July 24 and will be every Saturday after leading up to our next bike dyno day which will be there on August 21st for 5-10PM with prizes going out to the highest hp for cruisers and sportbikes. Average Joes said they will also be giving out awards as well. I think this venue will be much better than Hoggy's in Delaware simply because of being closer to Columbus and on a better night! Looking forward to seeing everyone come out.

4949 E. Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43081

Here you go.

Bored, broiling, just came from Triumph test rides at Motohio, and it's only four miles away from the house! Be there in a bit. :)

I think you had arrived as I was leaving. I apologize for not saying hello, but we were somewhat short staffed and I had to leave to handle some personal stuff. Turnout up until 8 was less than expected, but I do think next week will be better. More info in a new thread!

Arts band was playing so most of us cool kids were there supporting Shallowtail. Plus the threat of rain and the stupid high heat..... We'll be over to check your night out for sure on one of the next ones though.

You bumped it but you didnt show, whadup wit dat Tom?

And Justin, dont forget to keep an eye out for a salvage 400sm for me.

Neighbor wanted me to work on his car. So I did that, he's a good guy, a real deal combat veteran. Dead battery from fan stuck on when ignition off. Suspect fan relay, but only unplugged radiator fan, charged battery, and started Jeep so far. I don't know where the darn relay is. I see relays, but don't know which one it is...

edit: hahaha, it's under the front bumper on the passenger side. Bumper has to be removed to get to it, or cut a hole. Location varies a bit on certain years. Known to fail frequently from excess heat.

Replaced clutch cable on 02 black 919. It nearly broke. Couldn't ride it that way. Tried to put tail eliminator on, but realized I have no license plate light. durrrr... Now searching for plate lights, or mount the goofy stock light on the trick bracket. Fixed right rear turn signal. It was thinking about flopping around.

Maybe replacing cut up muffler cans on the 07 red 919 with cheap ebay stock cans today. Dunno. Kinda like it loud sometimes. But I think the gutted cans are killing low end power a bit. I need the stock rear fender from off the black one, for the red one (it was chopped off), so I can bolt up quick release sw-motech mounts for pelican boxes.

Huge pile of parts waiting...

@Tom - I've got a new-in-package LED-lit license plate frame that I'm not gonna use; decided to get an undertail that has built-in clear on the bottom of the taillights.

Yours for a milkshake... I'm kinda busy today, but may free up late afternoon and could meet you somewhere.

Looks like this (but it's still in the package):

If Tom passes on that I'll take it JB. Lemme know.

I just put an FE on the Z and the tag light I have doesn't fit. Tried license plate bolt lights, they won't fit through the slot in the mounting bracket and it's not something I wanna drill. Damn Euro-spec rant off!

oh, cool... I should do that. I was looking at that type, and this tiny one from StreetGlow.

I can ride over whenever. I need to test that new clutch cable anyway. (And get a charge going on the battery.) I'll watch for a PM, I'm running to the grocery. bbl

Something new from StreetGlow. It can mount up or down. (red running light, red brake light and license plate light):

ha, A few people have seen it. I ride it on weekends. And was riding it all this last week or two since the clutch cable went out on the other one. Problem is, everywhere I go lately, no people from Ohio Riders show up.

That seems to be the theme this summer. I've been crazy busy, so the only OR events I've really done are some of the Rule 3 bike nights on tuesdays and the Pickering House Hospice poker run.

Wanna try to make it to this one some before summer ends.

^^^ this....where is everyone. We have a bike night every Saturday in Columbus. In the last two weeks I have seen a total of MAYBE 10 OR members. Everyone said move it to Columbus and make it a weekend night, so I did. Yet still poor attendance. I would love to have more people out. We are giving away a $50 giftcard at every bike night for different things. This week is widest tire! So get off the couch and come out!
