KhaoticRebel
Anyone know of a respectable pawn shop around Columbus? (I know this is asking a lot.) The one featured in Pawn Stars is too far away. Thanks!

Disclaimer
What are you pawning? Maybe I'll buy it, or hold your collateral and be your loan shark @ exorbitant interest rates.

Casper
The one on Main St by Franklin University is cool. I stop in there every once in a while. They have lots of photo equipment and the such.
KhaoticRebel
Well it's not me who needs it. As you know, I'm trying to sell my bike and I keep getting strange trade offers. One was a commercial grade 32" walk behind mower and another was a 3 carat diamond set. I was convinced the diamond set was a scam, so I told him to sell them and bring cash thinking it would call his bluff. Well, he responded saying he's willing to sell them and if I knew of a place, so here we are.

Clearly he is incompetent with searching the internet, which means he may also fail to look up KBB and/or NADA values. If this gets my bike sold, then the time was well spent my friend. hue jass
Why not put it in eBay. It's only about a buck a round. Put a reserve and a buy-it-now on it and start the listing at 9pm Monday through Wednesday.A pawn's not going to give you anything for it because you're selling it to someone who doesn't want it. You need to reach more people. GL Edited August 18, 2010 by hue jass

I will also be able to pick it up today or tomorrow, your choice. $2000 CASH Daaaamn, at least a CL dude offered me a commerical grade lawnmower with his $2000 cash.A pawn's not going to give you anything for it because you're selling it to someone who doesn't want it. YSR_Racer_99
$2,001 PLUS I'll have 1000rrRider mow AND trim the yard for this year AND next. This includes picking up sticks, raking leaves, etc. Lemme know. Seriously, though, I don't blame you for putting some extra effort into getting it sold. Point him to the pawn shop, let him do the rest.I'm guessing that you wouldn't get anything for the mower either, as many companies are going out of business, and its nearing the end of their season. 32" is a pretty small commercial mower. Tpoppa
My ex-wife picked out an antique wedding ring (long story) she 'had to have' at a pawn shop type jewelry store. Years later, we found out most of the diamonds were fake. She still has it, and now I think it's pretty funny that it's fake.
