Today's groupon deal is a tandem jump for $119 from StartSkydiving.com located in Middletown (Cincy area i think).

Says its a 50% deal...these normally go for about $220ish range.

Interesting. I wonder if there is an expiration date, as to when you have to redeem the dive. You have to buy in 2 days, but do you have jump by this weekend too.

That is a badass deal, I think I paid like $300 for tandem along with a photographer to take pics of me.

I'll personally vouch for these guys, I went there in '08 for my first tandem jump. Everyone was really cool, very professional and HIGHLY trained.

If you are planning a group thing, my only advice is if you want to buy a video package (and I highly recommend for first-timers), keep the group down. We had about 8 people in our group, and all of them bought the videos. Not only did the instructors do the jumps with you, but they also cut and put together the videos afterwards which made for a very long evening of waiting around for DVD's.

Its looking like its going to be me a maybe 2 friends...if anybody else is down. 2 of us will be doing tandem...the other guy will try to solo since hes certified.
