The only motor I've ever had spark plugs snap off in would the the LT1 in early 4th gen F-bodies. I don't think it was out in 03, even if it was, it was only in the F-150, at least at first. He's talking about a F-250. THOSE are notorious for spark plugs blowing out, threads and all, requiring inserts to be installed. We have a kit for that, and have done quite a few of them. The first 3v I did, the head had to come off, because the extractor tool got broken off in the head. For the record, it came in with a couple of them already broken.
