I also remember reading in Motorcyclist? I believe, about Ducati building a bike to rival the Max. Albeit, more expensive...but a better bike. And, imo a much better looking bike.

Not sure i could justify spending 17, or 20k for it though.

I get your point....maybe i should have said inspired? Anyway...what i meant was Ducati is building this bike to be similar to the Max.

Another thing, i didn't realize a 2010 Vmax starts at 19,890$. So...i guess the base Diavel...would be a bit of a bargain comparably.

Yeah, The V-Max took a jump in price. I'm with ya though Ducati is stepping into the "Power Cruiser" arena with the Diavel and I'm betting it's a lot more fun to ride than the 'Max.
