Ohio Supreme Court upholds law that lets state set gun rules

Cleveland had challenged the state on grounds the law intruded on the constitutionally guaranteed right to home rule, which allows a municipality to govern itself. The city's ban on assault weapons was among those invalidated by the law.

Now if they would only pass that legislation were we can legally carry a concealed gun in Hooters, and I'll be happy!

The speaker wouldn't call a session in December even though alot of reps wanted to get this passed as Strickland said he would sign it. It's supposed to be one of the first orders of business in January. So you'll prolly get your (and mine) wish. Also relaxed automobile carry requirements (for CCWers).
