Looney
Heard about this from a friend a few hours ago. I was ready to leave T-Mobile. Glad I didn't pay to end my contract.

kawi kid
You're joking, right? Why bring a tmobile or sprint here and tell me how much you love your coverage then.
drew95gt
Verizon is WAY overpriced, once my contract is up next year I am out. They do have good service, as they should for what they charge you for it.
Jst2fst
My sister has AT&T and left T-Mobile because they suck... She's a bit pissed off right now.

Jst2fst
uhh no. ATT sucks. T mobile is awesome. T-Mobile sucks. we left them to go to Verizon. Kept dropping calls with T-mobile and their customer service was lacking a bit.
Bad324
seems like a good move on AT&T part to get more coverage to keep up with verizon
BiggO
Maybe they were hoping that by taking 2 services that suck, and merging them, that it would make them better.I think it just makes them suck twice as bad!
John
their customer service was lacking a bit.really? ive never had a problem with their customer service at all. they are usually ranked near the top for that.then again ive been with them for many years, so they love me. They wouldn't change it and said some bs that they were unable to change it in the computer. So we left after like six or seven years I think it was. That's why they suck.... Sure they have screwed up a time or two, but they always fix it.
cmh_sprint
seems like a good move on AT&T part to get more coverage to surpass verizonFTFY. That is the sole purpose behind this. Mobility is one our key revenue streams.
Zach
ATT bought 'em because they were a cheap way to get more customers. T-mo didn't have any way to get 4g without paying vzw or att to carry their customers. Getting bought was easier.
Gump
Sprint stock dropped heavy after rising then speculations of AT&T. They still have virgin mobile prepaids which might increase if vz & AT&T up pricing. Or they might disappear.???
modular
We have T-Mobile and have now for 4 years as we are happy with the service. What effect will this have on existing T-M customers? Will we now have AT&T or will there still be T-M?
John
it will probably will take a year to get everything done, but im guessing they will kill the t-mo name, then when your contract is up they will prob raise your rates too.
ReconRat
Didn't SBC buy AT&T?
John
yes, and they adopted the ATT branding. which was a smart move. its a name that goes back to 1885.
cmh_sprint
yes, and they adopted the ATT branding. which was a smart move. its a name that goes back to 1885.+1. When we bought AT&T, the AT&T name and image was a more recognizable brand on a national and global perspective so that is why SBC became AT&T. It was marketing 101.
